ASUS seems never run out of choices to satisfy their consumers. The company does not want only to target high budget, but also low budget consumers. I think this is a good decision since most of people will stick with low to mid end devices as not all of us need that powerful machine for our productivity. Having an Intel Celeron or AMD A series processor are more than enough to support our activity like browsing, editing document, and checking email. For users who always do that kind of activity, I think you might give a shot to ASUS Vivobook F441.
It features of AMD dual core A9 processor alongside with 8GB DDR4 RAM, and 1TB storage. This hardware is worth for its price range that only under 500 dollars. Moreover, we also get of 14 inch bright display that looks crisp and details. I think its best for us to take look inside, so you could a consideration about it. That is what we are going to talk about here. We are going to talk about it further on this article. To make it easier for you to understand, let’s we jump into the article.
There is not much thing to talk for its design. The entire shell is created mostly from plastic and finished with metallic feel and aluminum brushed. It looks like made from aluminum, but it’s not. The thing is possible because it’s great finishing. They do it so impressive and not making it so cheapish. Carrying it around on your bag is easy to do here as the system is just weight for 3.9 pounds. The 1.1 inch thickness for me is useful as now I can fit into my bag and still able carrying lot of stuff inside. I will give my big compliment for their hard work on making everything is so okay for the price.
Lifting the lid, you soon find a 14 inch display that is surrounded by thin bezel. The bezel on the top and bottom are quite thick, but not happened on both of left and right sides. At the bottom of its screen, you soon find an island type keyboard and wide size of touchpad as the companion. The silver finishing we get on the exterior is continuing on the side with exception for the keyboard that made in entire black. One worth mentioning thing here is the port connectivity. Luckily, they put so well complete package that I have no problem here. There are DVD drive, micro SD slot, audio 3.5 mm jack, HDMI, 2 USB type-A ports and single USB type-C port.back to menu ↑
The company takes huge step for a cheap laptop by putting of 14 inch display with 1080p resolution. It looks vivid and having great color reproduction. This is not the best full HD panel I have ever seen, but mostly better than similar products with 1366 x 768 display. One thing I love here is the brightness. The panel looks bright although with minimal brightness setting and making it so usable for outdoor usage. Most of business users or students will mostly spend their time move into one place to another and I think this is good news for them.
Typing on this laptop is not bad like I thought before. The keyboard features decent travel key which is not too far or too short. The keys itself are tactile and offers a responsive experience every time you press your finger on it. The touchpad is providing similar impression as its size is wide enough to block the entire document without any issue. The Windows 10 featuring of multiple gestures support like zooming, pinching and it works beautifully. The touchpad is just made from plastic and might feel quite stiff for people who never get used with it.

Better Than Celeron?
For supporting your productivity, the system is powered by AMD A9 9420 which is a dual core processor that each of them has 3 GHz clock rate that can be boosted into 3.6 GHz when it demands for more power. 3.0 clock rate is impressive for a mobile CPU and even Intel Celeron processor has only 1.6 to 18 GHz clock speed. As the result, the performance for single thread is far better than Celeron in every single way. It runs most of apps even for Adobe Photoshop in acceptable way. The features load incredibly fast with all of them working so wonderfully.
For its unique APU, AMD manages to put of their Radeon R5 integrated graphic card into a one chip system. The Radeon R5 is low end card, but at least better than Intel HD on handling video rendering and graphical demanding task. The good example is shown when i tried to stream my 1080p videos. Moving it to the different minutes work fast without too much loading times. The GPU is just not capable for heavy gaming, but Minecraft and indie games should work as I long as you want.back to menu ↑
The F441 is another worth mentioning device to afford in 2018. The laptop itself is comparable with ASUS F510UA that features better specs, but the F441 has overall better display and keyboard. For performance, the F510UA is the wiser choice right now, but if you prefer to have better productivity, then just take of this system as your main device. The choice is always yours, so feel free to take any consideration. I just hope the information is good enough for you on making choice. At last, thank you for reading the article and see you again next time.
